It is a crazy world we are living in. Every day is a guessing game about what to do and how is the best way to do it. We are choosing to be open predominantly for retail sales. If there are not too many people, we will serve a glass or two of wine as well. Also, during this time, we are offering delivery in Fountain Hills. I know human interaction is so vital and so please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. We will sell you wine and also let you whine. This will end. Let's hang in there! Blessings to you and yours!

We had a great end to 2017. There were several changes (as always) to the bar with events, like Reserve Wine Club. We will continue to try our best to bring you fun and interesting events throughout 2018 as well. We already have several new musicians, a Bubbles Tasting and Team Night on the books. We will continue with many of our fun traditions, like the Annual Chili Cook-off and explore new ways to bring you better wines and better service. Our new web-page is just one example of the ways we continue to try to enhance your experience with Grapeables. (Thank you Jack and Amy!) Stay in touch because things change quickly around here and I'd hate for you to miss out! All our best to you from the Grapeables Family! Well, I posted a wine and chocolate tasting on Facebook and it filled up very quickly. I actually had to remove the event because it said there were 138 people interested on top of the 35 already registered. I'll take that as, yes, you're interested. We'll see how this first event goes and then, most likely, schedule another.
We have an Okatoberfest Beer tasting September 23rd and a Rombauer Wine Pairing October 17th. So even if you missed the chocolates, there are still fun events coming up. Stay posted.... Summer is drawing to a close and Fall is just around the corner. Not that the weather is going to cool off, but it sounds nice anyway. We will be ramping up our events over the next few months. We are putting together several beer tastings and at least one wine pairing. Keep an eye on the calendar for all the details on these fun events. While we were in Belgium, I found a beer and chocolate tasting. I'm not sure I'm ready to tackle that yet, but what about a wine and chocolate pairing? Let me know if you're interested. There's not too much happening in the lazy days of summer, but enough fun things to keep us occupied. Esther is still in Spain and so there is no trivia this week, but Tres Burros is coming by the store to keep us entertained tonight instead. Reserve Wine Club is Thursday night at 6:30. Hilary from VOS/Southern will be doing her first wine club with us. We are doing WindRacer Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley and the Counselor Cabernet from Alexander Valley. Both are amazing wines! Next week, we will be having the wine and painting class and then celebrating Bill's birthday on Friday. Hope you can come by and see us. Even though it is the middle of a hot, hot summer there are still plenty of fun things to to down at the Grape. We have a brand new band this Saturday. They are locals called Next to Celia. Next Saturday an old favorite, Walt Richardson is back. Come have a listen! Also, we are excited to announce that our son Sam has started helping out at the bar this summer. Swing by and let me know who you think he looks more like, me or Bill. The whole Grapeables family would like to thank everyone who has made these last three years of owning the bar such a pleasure. It was so much fun to celebrate with all of you and Pearl Ridge as well. I can't wait to see what the upcoming years hold for all of us!
